ALL SOULS NEWSLETTER | January 17, 2021
Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
With trying times ahead for all of us the Elders and the Pastor of All Souls have thought about how we could support you if there is another lockdown, even if it is a smaller version of what we experienced in spring.
Many of us were looking forward to Advent and its lights and joys. But now it appears that a lot of the traditions and events we hold dear will not be happening as we have to be disciplined and keep our distance. Our pastor has developed a plan which is designed to help us help each other make it to the end of the tunnel. I was personally very impressed with Scotty’s ideas and hope you will feel the same.
In the sincere hope that his efforts will help you through a time of restriction and isolation I would like to quote word from Psalm 31:
Into your hand I commit my spirit;
You have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God.
And you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy;
You have set my feet in a broad place.
